The laser just couldn't take the weight of the beer keg huh?

LOL. I guess not.

These two photos posted on Facebook this week, although very different, just struck me as somewhat related in being unusual, even bizarre, picture of the two boats I have sailed the most.

The Sunfish keg was at the Sunfish North Americans this week, taken on a day when there was no wind. Apparently it was towed around the boat park by a golf cart.

The Laser on a trailer was rear-ended in a traffic accident, I believe.

Unfair comparison. The Laser is surrounded by snow/ice so nobody is going to be looking for a cold beverage outdoors that day. While the Sunfish is doing a passable impression of a cool-box, the Laser's shark impression is fantastic.

Good point R but American Laser sailors are strange. They like their beer cold all year round. In fact I sailed with one frostbite fleet which provided beer on the water to sailors (mainly for the sail back to the club AFTER racing of course) and we always had to keep that beer on ice even in the middle of winter.
